In Warri: Church Members Hold Service On Chevron Premises In Protest

Scores of protesters on Sunday held a non-denominational church service at the front of Chevron Tank Farm in Escravos, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State… 

According to reports, the indigenes of Ugborodo community have been protesting for days over the non-recognition of Ugborodo Interim Management Committee by oil firms operating in the area.

Meanwhile, some leaders of the community are also expected to hold a peace meeting with the state government, the Department of State Services and the Police towards resolving the issues that led to the protest.
