LMAO! Swedish Footballer Gets A ‘RED CARD’ For Farting During Match

A Swedish soccer player was given a red card for farting too loudly during a match, even as the referee accused him of “deliberate provocation” and “unsportsmanlike behaviour”.

Pershagen SK left back Adam Lindin Ljungkvist was dismissed late in a match against Järna SK’s reserves in what he says is the “strangest thing I have ever experienced in football,” according to Länstidningen Södertälje and translated by The Guardian.

The soccer player was left in disbelief when referee Dany Kako gave him his marching orders for blowing off – and assumed the official must have thought he had broken wind into his hand and hurtled the ghastly gas in his direction.

The 25 years old said:

Quote

“I had a bad stomach, so I simply let go.”

“Then I received two yellow cards and then red. Yes, I was shocked, it’s the strangest thing I have ever experienced in football.

“I asked the referee, ‘What, am I not allowed to break wind a little?’ ‘No,’ he replied … I don’t get it but maybe he thought I farted in my hand and threw the fart at him. But I did not.

The match official was not the only one to pick up on Ljungkvist’s flatulence, as an opposing player also noted the unmistakable sound from a mile away:

Opposition striker Kristoffer Linde told the paper:

Quote

“I was standing a good distance away but I heard the fart loud and clear. It’s the strangest thing I’ve seen on a pitch, and I’ve been playing football since I was eight years old.”

Amazingly, the ref admitted it was not the most absurd Red card he has ever dished out in his career.
