Popular River In Kara Market, Lagos State Suddenly Turns Dry Overnight (Photos + Video)

Popular Ogun River, a part of it which flows under the Kara Bridge around Ojodu Berger area of Lagos State suddenly went dry yesterday June 18th 2016.

According to residents of the area, they went to bed on the 17th with the river flowing only to wake up the next morning to see the river which served as one of their means of transportation where canoes were used to reach the dense waters, totally dry.

The surface of the water was so firm that people could now stand on the portion of the river. My dearest Moyo aka Team Laila sent in the video. Press play to watch it after the cut.
