Inetimi Alfred Odon, aka Timaya, makes our list of the richest musicians in the country.

The entertainer has had a very humble beginning which can be traced to the streets of Port Harcourt where he sold plantain. However he held on to his dream of becoming a successful musician.

Timaya’s solo career began in 2005 when he released the album, ‘Dem Mama.’ One of the hit tracks, ‘Sanko’ has over 15 million views on YouTube. Timaya charges between N1.5 to N4million per show. He has also had endorsements deals with telecoms giants, Glo and MTN. Recently, he signed a deal with Hennessy which was said to be worth several millions of naira. He is the CEO and founder of Dem Mama Records. He has a net worth of about N1.1 billion.
