Chacha's daughter has also launched a social media campaign to help find her mom

On the 11th of May, 2016, Charity wrote on Facebook that she was going on a road trip and that was the last time anyone heard from her.

According to her friends, “her cell phones 08188881301 and 09031420216have been switched off even though we have been able to ascertain from her phone records and obtained that the last originating call from her phone (08188881301) as traced was on the 9th of May, 2016, the no 08027786161belonging to a Rabi Mohammed. The last received call on her phone for same day was from 08032180798; this has been listed on true caller as Amani Lounge.”

A couple of friends went to her apartment; House 26, 5th avenue, Gwarimpa, two weeks after no one heard from her and were able to gain access in the company of a close male friend, her landlady and some security personnel. The facts discovered were;

1. Her apartment was unruffled but no apparent packing was done for a trip.

2. What appeared to be a fresh pot of soup which was now bad was on the burner, untouched.
3. The gate man who also hasn’t seen her said a gentleman came to install CCTV camera in company of a male friend in her apartment a few days after she went missing but when they tried to reach her, her phones were switched off.

According to a close friend, she was having CCTV installed because she had been receiving threats from her husband whom she testified against in a billions scandal recently, so there are fears that she may have been abducted (but this cannot be confirmed as yet).

Anyone who may have seen her or spoken with her in the last 3 weeks should come forward with relevant information. The ‘Find Deepdeal Chacha team’ can be reached on this Page.

FURTHER DEVELOPMENT AND UPDATES IN THE CASE OF THE MISSING ABUJA-BASED WOMAN by The Due Process Advocates (DPA) on Facebook on June 17th.

As expected, DPA’s investigation and inquiries into the disappearance of the Abuja-based lady, Deepdeal Cha-Cha DeHammer, are yielding tremendous results and now on a fast track. A number of people, including the husband, David, and her daughter, Juliet, are implicated in our investigation.

Also Cha-Cha is believed to have been in a romantic relationship with a close male associate of hers. It is believed that Cha-Cha’s husband is going to use the police to try to implicate the assumed boyfriend, who may be already in custody as the suspect for her disappearance.

All the time that Cha-Cha has been missing, somebody had been accessing Cha-Cha’s Facebook account, digging into her social life history and monitoring messages coming into her account, and seeking to use her Facebook account activity to derail investigation. However, as our investigation zeroed in on that account, the person deactivated the account yesterday.

Cha-Cha’s husband is believed to be highly corrupt and has stolen enough money from government coffers to be considered a multi-billionaire today. His sexual indiscretion is extraordinary. He was having sexual relationship with Cha-Cha’s sister, even after that sister got married. He was also having sexual relationship with Cha-Cha’s best friend and Cha-Cha’s secretary. When Cha-Cha discovered and fired her secretary, he compelled her to reemploy her. His corrupt activities are subject of ICPC/EFCC investigation. And Cha-Cha had refused all entreaties not to testify against her husband. We have copies of written messages begging Cha-Cha not to testify against her husband at the ICPC/EFCC and Cha-Cha’s refusal to pipe down.

DPA has sufficient information implicating the husband and a number of people, including Cha-Cha’s estranged daughter, Juliet. Juliet had known that her mother was missing for a whole month. She only came out to make statements in social media after DPA commenced investigation. Her goal is simply to derail the progress of the efforts of friends and DPA.

We shall be turning in DPA’s findings and investigative report to the office of the Inspector General of Police next week. And it is very likely that ECULAW may file a lawsuit next week on behalf of the missing woman. In the just society that we are all fighting for, this kind of thing should never be allowed to happen unchallenged.

The next update on this matter shall be on Sunday night. I encourage our sources to please continue to share with us every information you have on this case or the people involved. We shall protect you as a source. We shall not reveal the identity of sources in a manner that could expose them to harm. At the same time, we call on the friends and family members of Cha-Cha who want to seek justice for her to come forward and not be afraid. I will also be demanding that EFCC/ICPC consider that Cha-Cha was a key witness to the case they have against her husband and her disappearance if a clear obstruction of justice. Indeed, I request that Cha-Cha’s husband be immediately arrested to prevent further obstruction of justice in the case against him.

Thank you.
